The Oberoi Group's new luxury resort is located adjacent ot
the famous Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve. Though the tigeris an
elusive animal, sightings in the reserve are frequent. president
Bil Clinton, during his visit to India in March 2000, saw two
tigers at Ranthambhore in a single day. Vanyavilas is the first
luxury jungle resort in India. The resrot consists of luxury
air-conditioned tents located discreetly so as to ensure maximum
privacy. The tents, restaurant, bar etc. occupy only 5% of the
site, thus maintaining its natural beauty. The Ranthambhore
Tiger Reserve has a large variety of flora and fauna.
Accommodation: The
hotel consists of 25 luxury air-conditioned tents located
discreetly on the site to ensure maximum privacy. Each
air-conditioned tent has an area of 790 square feet. Spacious,
beautifully appointed interiors with teak wood flooring. Large
well appointed marble bathrooms with free standing bathtubs,
separate shower stalls and double vanity counters. Private deck
for sun bathing and outdoor dining.
Restaurants & Bars: An air-conditoned
restaurant and an outdoor restaurant sreving Continental and
Indian cuisine. A bar. Snacks and beverages service by the pool.
Facilities:
Heated swimming pool and jogging track. Private therapy rooms to
rejuvenated mind, body and soul. A games room and a lecture room for films
and talks on wildlife by Mr. Fateh Singh, a well known naturalist and former
Chief Conservationist of the Reserve. There is an amphitheatre for live
performances and a watch tower form where guests can view the reserve and
its wildlife.

70-year-old hunting lodge of the erstwhile rulers of Jaipur, is
set amidst 12 acres of lush gardens. The lodge is a 20-minute
drive from the Ranthambore National Park, which is famous for
its tiger population. Built in 1930 by Maharaja Sawai Man Singh
11 of Jaipur as a lodge for his hunting trips to the jungles of
Ranthambore, which were the favorite hunting grounds of the
Royal family of Jaipur. The highlight of the trip to Sawai
Madhopur is the visit to the Ranthambore National Park, which is
one of the finest habitats in the world for the Tigers.
Accommodation: 17
standard rooms, 10 superior rooms, including 2 executive suites
and 6 tents in addition from October to March. Maximum two
adults and one child per room.

Room: Serving Indian and Continental cuisine. Open for
breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bar: Open from 11 a.m. to 11
