Day
01 Kathmandu
Upon arrival, meet and assist at the airport by our representative and
transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel in
Kathmandu. Day
02 In and around Kathmandu
AM: Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city the capital of the Kingdom of
Nepal, and Swayambhunath. Here you will visit the temple of the Living
Goddess, who acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from the balcony
of her temple residence, Kasthamandap and Durbar Square with it's array
of temples overlooked by the ancient Hanuman Dhoka Palace. Swayambhunath,
the Buddhist stupa is said to be 2000 years old. PM: Sightseeing tour of
Patan city, 5 km away from Kathmandu city. It is the city of fine arts,
enclosed within 4 stupas said to be built in 3rd century AD, by Emperor
Ashoka. Overnight
in Kathmandu. Day

Kathmandu–Dhulikhel
AM: visit Pasupatinath and Boudhnath In Pashupatinath you can see famous
Lord Shiva Temple and Hindu cremation ground. You are not allowed to go
inside the temple as it is strictly for Hindus only, but you can clearly
see the temple and the activities from the eastern bank of the Bagmati
river. Later visit Boudhnath, the 2500 years old Buddhist stupa in the
Valley built in 5th century. Transfer from Kathmandu to
Dhulikhel
by surface visiting Bhadgaon on the way. Bhadgaon is known as
Bhaktapur meaning the city of devotees. The Nyatapola Temple built by
King Bhupatindra Malla, is the best example of Pagoda style temples.
Thirty Kms east from Kathmandu lies Dhulikhel, an ancient town famous
for its scenic beauty and the traditional lifestyle of its people.
From here one can have a complete panoramic view of the snowy
ranges from Karyolung in the east to Himalchuli in the west. Check into
your hotel. Overnight in Dhulikhel Day

Dhulikhel-Pokhara After
breakfast drive to the lakeside resort valley of Pokhara. From here see
Mt. Annapurna (8091m), Fishtail (6994m), Dhaulagiri (8167m) and
Himalchuli (7893m).
This is also an ideal place for outdoor activities such as
swimming, boating on the Phewa lake, pony treks, short hikes and
mountain cycling. Overnight at hotel. Day
05
In Pokhara In
the morning go on a half day Pokhara city tour. This beautiful valley is
situated at a height of 2950 ft. and has snow clad peaks, crystal-clear
lakes, stream and gorges and picturesque villages inhabited by friendly
smiling Gurungs, Magars and other ethnic tribes. One of the most popular
excursions is to paddle out the little island offshore from lakeside, on
which there is a small temple. Overnight at hotel. Day
06
Pokhara–Chitwan After
breakfast drive to Royal Chitwan National Park, 165 kms south west of
Kathmandu. Upon arrival at your hotel, you will be briefed about the
programs and camp facilities by the Guest Relations Officer.
Dinner and Overnight at Chitwan. Day

Chitwan
After breakfast, full day jungle activities include jungle safari on
elephant back, nature walks, jungle drive by Land Rover, canoeing and
bird watching in the park, which is 360 sq. miles of tall grassland and
thick forests.
The two prized animals of the Chitwan Park are the Royal Bengal
Tiger and the great one horned Rhinoceros.
Other wild animals you can see are Leopard, Gaur, Sloth bear Wild
boar, Sambar deer, Spotted Deer, Hog Deer, etc and over 400identified
species of birds. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Chitwan. Day
08
Chitwan–Kathmandu
Transfer from Chitwan to Kathmandu by surface.
Upon arrival at Kathmandu check into your hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel. Day
09 Overseas
After breakfast day is free at leisure. Later transfer from hotel to
airport for your onward flight. |
